Lamine Yamal speaks out on upcoming Cristiano Ronaldo showdown | OneFootball

Barcelona and Spain star Lamine Yamal has provided his take on his upcoming showdown with Real Madrid icon Cristiano Ronaldo.

Lamine, of course, is fresh off another starring display on the international front on Thursday night.

Afforded a starting berth in Spain’s Nations League semi-final showdown with France, the 17-year-old notched a brace, en route to a 5-4 La Roja triumph.

As much means that Luis de la Fuente’s European champions will lock horns with Portugal in the Nations League finale this weekend.

This also means that football’s next superstar, in Lamine, will face off with one of the greatest players to ever step foot on the pitch, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of last night’s clash, the subject of going toe-to-toe with Ronaldo was therefore put to Spain’s wing sensation.

And Lamine went on to respond:

“Playing against Cristiano? He’s a football legend. I’ll do my job, which is to win, and that’s it.”
