Lamine Yamal teases major Barcelona transfer with social media post | OneFootball

Just a while ago, reports emerged claiming that Barcelona sporting director Deco had held a meeting with Nico Williams’ agent Felix Tainta.

It is no secret that the 22-year-old Spanish winger is admired by the Blaugrana, who came ever so close to signing him last summer only for the move to fall through due to concerns about registration.

This summer, though, Barcelona seemed to have moved from Nico, with Luis Diaz emerging as their priority target.

However, the Athletic Club winger’s name seems to be back on the agenda with Deco holding a meeting with his agent in Barcelona today.

Lamine Yamal drops hint?

Soon after the news of the meeting broke, Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal made an interesting post on social media.

The winger, who is a very close friend of Nico, posted a photo of both of them together, celebrating in Spanish national team colours.

Could it be a case of the 17-year-old wonderkid knowing something that is brewing behind the scenes?

The 22-year-old has a close bond with not only Lamine but several other Barcelona players and as such, should a move go through, adaptation is unlikely to be a major concern.

Nico has a release clause worth €62 million in his contract and would be open to a move to Barcelona, as long as assurances over his registration are provided.

Having missed out on the transfer last summer, Nico might still get his desired move to Barcelona.
