Barcelona and Real Madrid stars Lamine Yamal and Vinícius Jr. were spotted putting their differences aside on the pitch, shortly before being involved in a heated post-match exchange on Sunday.
Attackers Lamine and Vinícius were at the heart of a headline-grabbing back-and-forth following the full-time whistle in yesterday’s El Clásico.
After the former was the target of widespread anger on the part of Real Madrid’s players, owing chiefly to his recent ‘stealing’ comments regarding Los Blancos, Vinícius furiously vented at Lamine en route to the Santiago Bernabéu tunnel.
The Brazilian was heard repeatedly shouting ‘speak now’, whilst making a talking gesture with his hand:
After Lamine responded, Vinícius then required restraining on the part of the security staff in attendance at the Santiago Bernabéu.
As alluded to above, though, not long before, the two talented wingers actually appeared to be getting along just fine…
As showcased in the screenshots below, during a stoppage in play, Lamine approached Vinícius with a handshake, before the pair embraced and shared a laugh:
