Barcelona’s new home kit for the 2026-27 season has officially gone on sale, and there was one clear favourite among supporters from the moment the club stores opened.
Fans gathered early at the Spotify Camp Nou store to be among the first to purchase the new jersey following its official unveiling on Tuesday evening.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the biggest demand came for Lamine Yamal’s shirt with the iconic No. 10 on the back, with supporters eager to own the jersey of Barcelona’s new attacking leader.
The strong response underlines the excitement surrounding the 18-year-old, whose promotion to the famous shirt had already become one of the defining stories of last summer.
Barcelona’s new home strip features a fresh design with three shades of blue and three shades of red arranged in vertical stripes, giving the traditional colours a modern look.
Another major change is the new “FC Barcelona Modernista” font used for names and numbers. The typography has been created exclusively for the club and is designed to strengthen the visual connection between Barcelona, the city, and Catalan cultural heritage.
The shirts also feature the Barca Foundation logo on the back, replacing the previous UNHCR branding and reinforcing the club’s commitment to its own social projects.
Prices range from €125 to €175 depending on the version, while supporters can also purchase matching shorts carrying Lamine’s No. 10.
It is no surprise that Lamine’s shirt has immediately become the biggest seller. He has already established himself as the face of Barcelona’s new generation.
Lamine already showed throughout the 2025-26 season that he could handle the pressure that came with the iconic number.
For Barcelona, this is more than a successful merchandise launch. It is another sign that the club’s future has a clear figure at its centre, and supporters are fully buying into that vision.
