Frank Lampard believes Brighton could pose an even tougher test than Manchester City as Coventry chase their first Premier League points.
Coventry lost to Arsenal and Hull in the first two rounds, then were beaten 1-0 at the Etihad last week. According to TheArgus.co.uk, he said they went to City with little expectation and a clear plan to limit space, and the same attitude is needed against Brighton.
He added that Coventry must recognise the different level and stay adaptable for certain games, finding the best way quickly.
Young defender Stephen Mfuni is available for the first time after arriving on loan from Manchester City, while Yann Gboho, a winger or attacking midfielder signed from Rennes, can also come in.
The Sky Blues return to the CBS Arena on Sunday to face Fabian Hurzeler’s side, who have four points from three games, and Carl Rushworth, signed from Albion in the summer, is certain to start in goal.
