Laps at Säbener: Ito on the comeback trail | OneFootball

While the majority of the FC Bayern first team are still on their well-deserved summer holiday and aren’t expected back at the German record champions’ training ground until next week for the start of pre-season, Hiroki Ito has already been working on his comeback there for some time. The Japanese defender suffered a recurrence of a fracture in his right metatarsal area in the Bundesliga match against St. Pauli in late March and has been grafting to get back on the pitch since then.

Laps at Säbener Straße

Having already been able to complete some initial laps at Säbener Straße in recent days, Ito jogged on the grass again on Friday as part of his rehab work. The 26-year-old is also continuing his individual training programme in the FCB performance centre.
