Real Madrid have been afforded a boost on the financial front, by way of La Liga rivals Las Palmas.
This comes amid confirmation that the latter have come to the decision to take over permanent ownership of Marvin Park.
Marvin, for his part, is a product of the youth system at Real Madrid, but has been plying his trade on loan with Las Palmas for the last two years.
The 23-year-old played an important role for García Pimienta’s troops this past season, racking up 31 La Liga appearances, 17 of which came in the form of starts.
And as much, evidently, proved enough to convince the brass at the Estadio Gran Canaria of Marvin’s deservingness of a more long-term commitment.
In turn, speaking during a press conference, as cited by Diario AS, on Tuesday, Las Palmas president Miguel Ángel Ramírez announced that:
“We have decided to buy the 50% that Real Madrid is selling us in Marvin.”
The attacker, who chiefly operates on the right wing but is also capable of filling in at full-back, is expected to put pen to paper on a four-year contract in Gran Canaria.
