Lasarte-Oria shepherd paints flock in Real Sociedad colours for Copa del Rey final in Seville

A Lasarte-Oria shepherd has sprayed his sheep in Real Sociedad’s white and blue ahead of this Saturday’s Copa del Rey final in Seville. According to Diario Vasco, Eduardo Roteta revived the idea to back La Real.

Roteta, a fan since childhood, said they had done the same five years ago for the final against Athletic. He had always intended to repeat it if La Real returned to a final.

For the latest effort he enlisted relatives. His brother and nephew held the flock while he applied the colours.

He added that a Real flag flies all year at his Lasarte-Oria field. He replaced it with a new one a month ago.

Roteta has now hung a banner that reads, 'Galdu edo irabazi, beti zurekin. Aupa Erreala'.
