LASK mirror Celtic decision ahead of Champions League play-off tie | OneFootball

LASK have opted to postpone a domestic fixture ahead of their Champions League play-off against Celtic later this month.

The Austrian club will now have a free weekend between the two legs after receiving approval to rearrange their Bundesliga trip to Wolfsberger, which had been scheduled for August 22.

Celtic had already taken the same approach, with their Premiership meeting against St Johnstone postponed to allow Martin O’Neill’s side to focus fully on the decisive European encounter.

The Hoops will host the opening leg at Celtic Park before travelling to Linz for the return fixture at the Raiffeisen Arena, with a place in the Champions League league phase on the line.
