Inter are still trying to unlock moves involving Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones and Ivan Perisic as the transfer window edges toward its conclusion.
The picture remains fluid, with multiple conditions needing to align.
However, a key obstacle stands in the way. The Liverpool midfielder would first need to extend his contract, which currently runs until 2027, before a loan deal could be finalised.
Without that renewal, the English club are reluctant to proceed.

This issue has a direct impact on Davide Frattesi’s future.
If Inter cannot secure Jones as a replacement, they are unlikely to allow Frattesi to complete his proposed switch to Nottingham Forest.
There is also a faint possibility of movement on Ivan Perisic.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that a deal could still be discussed if structured as a paid loan.
Whether PSV will accept that formula in the final hours of the window remains uncertain.
Inter’s strategy is therefore tied to a delicate chain reaction. Outgoings depend on incomings, and each negotiation influences the others.
As the deadline approaches, the Nerazzurri are working to keep multiple tracks alive while waiting for the right breakthrough.
