West Brom have enjoyed a rapid rise up the Championship table under Carlos Corberan.
The Spaniard has overseen an impressive run of results since taking charge of the first team squad at the Hawthorns.
The Baggies are now sitting in the play-off places, having been in the relegation zone prior to Corberan’s arrival.
Four wins in a row in the league either side of the new year has brought the team into promotion contention.
An FA Cup replay against Chesterfield must also be navigated if the side is to progress in their other competition this season.
With the January transfer window now also underway, it is a busy time for everyone at the club.
Here are the latest transfer news headlines surrounding West Brom…
The 24-year old was an emerging star of the World Cup last year for South Korea and he has now been linked with a potential move this month.
According to 90min, West Brom are one of several clubs interested in negotiating a deal to sign the forward.
Celtic and Rangers are also reportedly keen to sign Cho, with the likes of Everton, Southampton, Leeds United and Burnley all also named as interested parties.
Cho currently competes in his native Korea for Jeonbuk Hyundai, but scored twice on the world stage in Qatar late last year.
Daniel Nkrumah interest
According to Alan Nixon, West Brom are set to compete with Middlesbrough for the signing of the Leyton Orient forward.
Albion have reportedly enquired about his availability, with Boro said to be lining up an offer to the League Two side.
Orient could be pressured into accepting an offer as they look to secure their position in the race for automatic promotion this season.
The 19-year old has yet to really have his breakthrough with the fourth tier club, making just seven appearances in 2021-22, but has earned a reputation as a burgeoning talent.
Leighton Clarkson
Clarkson is a potential transfer target for West Brom this January, according to Football Insider.
The midfielder is currently on loan with Aberdeen, having previously spent a stint with Blackburn Rovers from parent club Liverpool.
Aberdeen are hopeful of fending off any interest, but it will be up to the Reds to determine whether his stint in Scotland is worth terminating in order to spend the second half of the season on loan in the English second tier.
