Laurent Abergel set to join Nice after surprise Lorient contract termination | OneFootball

FC Lorient have confirmed that Laurent Abergel (33) has terminated his contract with the club after reaching a mutual agreement. This is despite the midfielder having 3 years left on his current contract with the Breton club. 

L’Équipe reports that the 33-year-old has reached an agreement with Nice following the termination of his contract at the Stade du Moustoir. Abergel should now travel to the south of France ahead of completing his switch to the Allianz Riviera. The Frenchman is already believed to have reached an agreement on personal terms with Le Gym.

Abergel didn’t hesitate to join Nice

After he found out that Nice were interested in acquiring his services, the midfielder was quick to come to a resolution with Les Merlus regarding his contract termination. The Marseille-born midfielder was eager to seize the opportunity to join Les Aiglons.
