Bastia have appointed Laurent Peyrelade as head coach on Saturday.
The club said in a statement that his brief is to restore upward momentum in Ligue 3.

They were relegated after finishing 17th in Ligue 2 in 2025-2026. He replaces Réginald Ray, who left in mid-May after the drop.
Peyrelade, 56, previously led Rodez from 2015 to 2022, taking the club into Ligue 2.
He also coached Versailles in 2023 and Grenoble in 2024, and had been in charge of Agde in N3 since February. At Bastia, he is tasked with starting a new chapter aligned with the club’s history and ambitions.
