A win on the road for Inter, who beat Pisa 2-0 thanks to a brilliant brace from captain Lautaro Martinez. It is the Nerazzurri’s ninth win of the season, taking them to 27 points after 13 matchdays.
The match in Pisa proved tricky, with the hosts staying sharp and looking dangerous on the break, particularly through the Meister–Nzola partnership, who repeatedly tested Sommer. Inter broke through in the second half: Lautaro curled home a left-footed strike under the crossbar in the 67th minute, off a precise assist from Esposito. Then in the closing stages, Barella delivered a clever shot-cross, which Lautaro converted to make it 2-0. The brace moves Martinez to the top of the Serie A scoring charts and brings his Inter career tally to 164 goals, overtaking Sandro Mazzola to claim fourth place on the club’s all-time goalscorers list.
