Inter dominated at the Bluenergy Stadium and took home three vital points in the rescheduled matchday 21 of Serie A. Once again, it was Lautaro Martinez who was the difference maker: the captain scored the Nerazzurri's 1-0 winner to round off a solid and disciplined performance. Here are all the stats and key facts behind the victory against Udinese.

INTER IN NUMBERS

Inter's Serie A run shows no signs of slowing down. With the win in Udine, the Nerazzurri have now collected at least 49 points after their first 21 games for the fourth time in the last five seasons (50 in 2021/22, 54 in 2023/24, 50 in 2024/25), a figure that matches what the club achieved across the previous 27 seasons in the three-points-for-a-win era.

Inter have recorded 16 wins in their first 21 league games this season. In the five earlier seasons when Inter had more than 15 wins at this stage, the Nerazzurri always came out victorious in Serie A, with the Scudetto secured each time (most recently in 2023/24).

Defensive solidity remains one of the team's biggest strengths: their clean sheet in Udine is just one of eleven that they've secured this Serie A campaign, the highest total in the league.

THE CAPTAIN AND HIS RECORDS

It's that man again. Lautaro Martinez once again continues to write his name into the history books: with the deciding goal against Udinese, he reached 15 goal involvements in this Serie A season (eleven goals, four assists), becoming the first player to reach this milestone in each of the last seven league campaigns since 2019/20. Across Europe's top five leagues, only Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe, and Erling Haaland have reached that mark over this period.

Lautaro's impact goes far beyond San Siro. With six away goals this season, he becomes only the third player, after Kane and Mbappe, to score more than five goals on the road in each of the last seven seasons across Europe's top five leagues.

Against Udinese, the Argentinian player scored his seventh goal on the road in Serie A, scoring in six different games. Only against Atalanta (eight) and Cagliari (ten) has he recorded goals in more league fixtures.

Finally, Lautaro stands out for his all-round finishing ability: he is one of only two players in the current top five European leagues to have scored more than three goals with both his right foot (five, including Udine) and his left (four), along with Brentford's Igor Thiago.

PIO AGAIN

It was a special evening for Pio Esposito, who continues to establish himself as a key figure. All three of the young Nerazzurri's assists this season have been finished by Lautaro Martinez: no player in the current Serie A has provided more assists to a single teammate (a total also matched by Aarón Martín for Leo Østigård).

A mix of class, personality, and drive: Pio Esposito is the youngest Italian footballer to have contributed to at least five goals this season across Europe's top five leagues (two goals and three assists), including the decisive involvement in the win at Udine.
