Chelsea will face off against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon as they hope to pick up a win on the road in the Premier League. The Blues managed to secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Liverpool before the international break, which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this clash.
Enzo Maresca will once again opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first XI for this game. Romeo Lavia and Trevoh Chalobah could both play from the start of this contest versus the Midlands club.
Robert Sanchez will feature in between the sticks for the Blues after shipping in one goal in his last league outing. Trevoh Chalobah will return from suspension and resume his partnership with Benoit Badiashile at the heart of Maresca’s defence as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the pitch.
Reece James will try to catch the eye as the right-back if he can recover from his knock, while Marc Cucurella hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Jorrel Hato will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Moises Caicedo will anchor the midfield along with Romeo Lavia as they focus on winning the 50-50 duels at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Alejandro Garnacho, Enzo Fernandez and Pedro Neto could play just ahead of them as part of Chelsea‘s attack. Maresca would be sweating on the fitness of Fernandez, who is a major doubt for this game due to a knee problem.
Jamie Gittens, Facundo Buonanotte and Estevao will make up the numbers on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second half if required.
Joao Pedro will lead the line for the West London club up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in and around the Nottingham penalty box.
Marc Guiu will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
