Lazio ‘interested in’ Everton midfielder Iroegbunam

Lazio are interested in Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam, according to Sky Sport Italia and Sky Sports UK.

No proposal has been made, and he would be viewed as a replacement for Rade Belahyane if his sale is completed.

The 22-year-old has represented England at Under-19 and Under-20 level, and turns 23 in June.

A West Bromwich Albion academy graduate, he also had spells at Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers before a €10.7m move to Everton in July 2024.

He has made 19 competitive appearances for the Toffees this season across the Premier League and cup ties, with 12 starts and three assists.

Lazio have been in flux since a transfer embargo at the start of the campaign was cleared, which allows them to add reinforcements in January.
