Lazio interested in Everton’s Tim Iroegbunam | OneFootball

Lazio have set their sights on Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam as they look to add freshness to their midfield department in the final days of the January window.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Biancocelesti have identified the 22-year-old Englishman as a concrete target. However, for a deal to materialize before the deadline, Lazio would first need to sanction an exit in that area of the pitch. Reda Belahyane is the primary candidate to make way, with the youngster heavily linked with a departure—potentially to Hellas Verona as part of other negotiations.

Iroegbunam is currently tied to Everton with a long-term contract that runs until June 2027, meaning the Toffees aren’t in the strongest position to negotiate. Despite his contract status, Lazio are exploring the feasibility of a move, likely aiming for a formula that fits their current financial constraints.
