According to The Laziali, Hellas Verona are willing to sell young striker Giovane to Lazio but are seeking a higher fee, with negotiations ongoing.
In recent days a swap has been explored involving Giovane and Reda Belahyane, who is considered surplus at Formello, and his former club are open to taking him back. The Brazilian has been one of Serie A’s standout revelations this season.
The clubs are working to find the right formula. Maurizio Sarri has approved Giovane’s arrival, admiring his attributes and versatility across the final third. Lazio are also urged to act quickly as Napoli are monitoring the 22-year-old.
The proposal currently on the table includes Belahyane plus 010 million. Verona are instead asking for 013-15 million to balance the package, valuing the Moroccan at 06 million.
Verona are also weighing up whether to pursue Belahyane at all. In the meantime they have requested a cash-only operation for Giovane, while intermediaries work on a possible move for the Lazio midfielder to Cremonese.
