Lazio ‘to monitor’ Man City youngster Charlie Gray as contract nears expiry

Footy Insider reports that Lazio and Feyenoord are monitoring 20-year-old Manchester City midfielder Charlie Gray as his contract enters its final weeks, with talks over a new deal ongoing and other English clubs also in contact.

Gray, a Manchester native, progressed through City’s academy and has been with the U21s since 2024.

This season he made 20 appearances in all competitions, scoring three and providing four assists. He also featured briefly in the Carabao Cup quarter-final win against Brentford.

His terms expire at the end of the month, so a move could be considered given the fierce competition for minutes at the Etihad.

Lazio insider Damiano Er Faina has said the Biancocelesti are keen, and that Bologna are also in the frame.
