According to L'Équipe, it was the first Le Classique to finish with a five goal margin, making it the largest win in PSG-OM history.
It ended a run of 3087 days since Marseille last lost by five goals, a 6-1 reverse at Monaco on 27 August 2017.
Paris struck the woodwork four times, the first such tally in Ligue 1 for seven years, last seen in a PSG v Caen game.
Ousmane Dembélé has now been involved in 10 goals against OM, five goals and five assists, his preferred opponent across all competitions.
Nuno Mendes delivered his 20th assist for PSG, and among the club’s left backs this century only Maxwell has more with 24.
PSG also recorded a seventh straight Ligue 1 victory, the joint-best run across the big five leagues, level with Real Madrid.
