Le Havre enter the winter window aiming to bolster their attack, but any moves are constrained by finances and could depend on exits, according to L'Équipe.
After a first half of the season that left them 15th in Ligue 1, the club must be clever from January to early February to secure safety. On 25 November, the DNCG kept controls on the wage bill and transfer fees, with limited cash available for deals.
The Roussier, Bodmer and Digard trio have already held recruitment meetings and are seeking ways to improve the squad. Up front remains the priority, with only Issa Soumaré scoring among the recognised forwards, three goals. The club will also stay alert to other opportunities.
The scale of their business will evolve with departures, and in a tight financial context no player is effectively untouchable. Chilean striker Damian Pizarro, 20, on loan from Udinese, could leave earlier than planned.
Window snapshot: the priority position is one striker. Financial capacity is rated ★☆☆☆☆, meaning sales are required to buy. Potential exits include Pizarro, Logbo and Youté, while any arrivals will be assessed only after departures.
