Le Mans kick off window with Billal Brahimi return until 2028 | OneFootball

Le Mans have kicked off their window by bringing back Billal Brahimi on a contract to 2028, with an optional extra season.

According to L'Équipe, they aim to add seven to eight players, targeting centre-backs, a left wing-back, a right wing-back, a left-footed midfielder and two attackers, without being dogmatic about profiles.

The Algeria international, 26, has four caps and is well known at Marie-Marvingt after a standout 2020-2021 campaign of 12 goals and 10 assists.

Then on loan from Stade de Reims, he stepped up to Ligue 1 by joining Angers the following season.

Since then, he has found regular starts hard to come by, featuring for Nice, Brest, Saint-Trond (Belgium), Estrella Amadora (Portugal) and Santos (Brazil).

Back in Sarthe, he will wear number 7, rather than the number 11 he used previously.
