Le Progres reports that Le Puy Foot 43 will open a professional-standard club shop at the start of next season, part of a wider off-field upgrade.
The team were in the top five of National after facing Orléans on 13 February and are preparing to play after the summer break in Ligue 3, the name for a third division that is due to become professional.
With president Christophe Gauthier overseeing preparations, the club is reorganising its sporting, administrative and communications. Specialists Julien and Logan have joined for events, video, web and social media, and staff have relocated to place de la Libération in premises formerly occupied by Céline Jouve’s vintage showroom.
Workstations for seven employees across administration, accounting, secretariat and communications are already in place, while the shop fit-out is progressing slowly amid a standout season.
Everything will be ready for the new term to meet rising demand. Matchday kiosk sales of shirts, hats and scarves point to strong interest, with some shirt sizes already out of stock, and next season’s orders increased to better match demand.
Online ticket reservations are climbing, particularly for high stakes fixtures. For the Coupe de France round of 32 against Bordeaux, every seat went within half a day, though many supporters still prefer to buy in person and chat.
Staff already welcome the public at place de la Libération from Monday to Friday, nine to 12 and 14 to 17:30. All items will soon be available to buy via the club’s website.
