A dramatic day of quarter-final action saw Chelsea thump Liverpool 9-1 while Manchester United needed a late goal to see-off Tottenham Hotspur 2-1. Elsewhere, Arsenal were made to work hard for a 2-0 win at second tier Crystal Palace while managerless West Ham United went down 5-1 at home to Manchester City.
The potential semi-final path was mapped out when the quarter-final draw was made last month and the two ties have now been confirmed.
The first semi-final tie will see Arsenal play host to Manchester United. The tie is a repeat of the 2019 semi-final where a Vivianne Miedema double sealed a 2-1 success for The Gunners in Borehamwood.
The second semi-final has produced a very familiar fixture of recent times with Manchester City playing host to Chelsea at The Joie Stadium. The two sides faced-off five times last season – four of those games were played out consecutively in spring. Chelsea are the current Subway Women’s League Cup holders after defeating Manchester City 2-1 in last season’s final.
The two Subway Women’s League Cup semi-finals will be played on 21 and 22 January 2026. This season’s Subway Women’s League Cup final will take place at Bristol City’s Ashton Gate Stadium on Sunday 15 March 2026.
