Leandro Gracián, 43, has been appointed Quilmes head coach after Alfredo Grelak departed following only three matches of the current campaign.

According to SuperDepor.com, the former Deportivo Madryn boss enjoyed a strong 2025, leading the club to two promotion finals in the Primera Nacional.

The former Vélez Sarsfield and Boca Juniors player will be joined by Manuel León and Gabriel Valles as assistants, with Pablo Santella and Santiago Adrover overseeing fitness.

At his presentation, Gracián said Quilmes have a good squad and emphasised that the group’s mentality will be crucial to developing a clear playing idea.

He is set to make his debut with the Cervecero on Saturday 14 at 19.00 against Patronato de Paraná, in the fifth round of the Primera Nacional.
