Federico Dimarco and Piotr Zielinski were the standout performers as Inter Milan claimed a 2-0 victory at Lecce, with Corriere dello Sport handing out largely positive ratings and reserving their harshest verdicts for Marcus Thuram and Petar Sucic.

Dimarco earned the highest score of the match with a 7.5, described as the emblem of the Chivu era alongside Zielinski.

The Italian wing-back was docked half a point for a missed goal but remained the game’s defining presence.

“His left foot still makes the difference,” Corriere wrote, via FCInterNews.

Indeed, adding that “his corners now resemble penalties” – high praise for a player who has made set pieces one of Inter’s most dangerous weapons this season.

Zielinski matched Dimarco’s influence from a deeper position, earning a 7 for a display that drew comparisons with Calhanoglu.

Corriere described him as “the beacon of the game, found everywhere, always lucid in his decisions.”

Chivu himself picked up a 7 for winning the game from the bench, with the victory extending Inter’s remarkable run to thirteen wins from their last fourteen league games and a temporary ten-point cushion over AC Milan.

Akanji and Mkhitaryan both scored 7 after their decisive second-half interventions, while Bisseck, Bastoni, Frattesi, Diouf and Esposito all earned 6.5s.

Sommer, Luis Henrique and Bonny received a 6 apiece, with the Brazilian wing-back noted for his constant movement despite lacking precision.

The two blemishes were Sucic, who earned a 5 for “a softness in challenges he simply cannot eliminate,” and Thuram, who received 5.5 after a passive display that repeatedly required Chivu’s intervention from the touchline.
