Lecce President Saverio Sticchi Damiani denies that Milan will pay for each goal Francesco Camarda will score for the Salentini this season: ‘It’s not true.’
The Giallorossi have an option to make the striker’s move permanent, but Milan also have a buy-back clause, so technically they are still in control of the promising centre-forward.
There were reports in Italy that the Rossoneri had agreed to pay for each goal that Camarda would score with Lecce in 2025-26, but Sticchi Damiani denied it.

“It’s not true. It’s been made up. If Camarda scores, Lecce won’t get more money. On the contrary, I fear that we’ll have to give a bonus to Camarda,” the Lecce president said on Friday, via Gazzetta.
Sticchi Damiani was talking to a group of students at Unisalento alongside coach Eusebio Di Francesco.
“It’s a decision that was made for many reasons. Even brave decisions. It’s not about cost-effectiveness,” he added.
“It was said that because of financial reasons, the club’s and the coach’s desires are affected. With just one line, you destroy all the respect and values and support for the coach that Lecce have.”
