Eight players are out and three more are doubts for Leeds United’s final home game against Brighton, with two players back, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk. Kick-off is on Sunday at Elland Road.

Leeds enter their penultimate Premier League fixture already safe, survival confirmed by Arsenal’s 1-0 win at West Ham last Sunday. Fresh setbacks surfaced before and during Monday night’s match at fourth-bottom Tottenham, then Daniel Farke delivered his final update on Friday.

For Brighton, Diego Gomez is available again after three games out with a knee issue. Fabian Hurzeler said, “He will definitely be an option for Sunday.”

Kaoru Mitoma suffered a hamstring problem against Wolves last weekend and will miss the last two fixtures. Stefanos Tzimas underwent surgery on an ACL injury in December and will not play again this season. Adam Webster has been back on the grass after a serious ACL injury in the summer, yet a return across the final two games is unlikely.

Leeds loanee Facundo Buonanotte, borrowed from Brighton, missed Tottenham with a hamstring issue and is in any case ineligible to face his parent club. Ilia Gruev is sidelined for the rest of the campaign after a meniscus injury in training. Brighton are seventh after winning seven of their last 10, and are pushing for Europe.
