Leeds United host Newcastle United at Elland Road on Monday night, with both clubs managing injuries after contrasting Carabao Cup ties and a fresh setback for the visitors at Millwall.
Leeds drew 1-1 at Brighton last weekend, then lost 6-3 at Chelsea on Wednesday. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Daniel Farke made eight changes, handing debuts to Michael Zetterer and Melvin Bard, with Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin used from the bench.
Newcastle won 1-0 at Millwall but several players remain sidelined. Joelinton continues to rehab a summer thigh issue and will not make Monday, while Dan Burn is out with ankle ligament damage, not requiring surgery, until after the international break.
William Osula is also out with a foot problem and has been seen in a protective boot. The earliest he could return is against Hull City next weekend, although after the international break is likelier.
Ewen Jaouen is a doubt after an ankle injury kept him out at Millwall and, even if available, he would not displace the first-choice goalkeeper. Amar Dedic suffered a hamstring issue in midweek, a potentially major blow, and is a doubt, although the problem is not thought to be too serious.
Deadline-day arrival Matias Fernandez-Pardo is still building fitness and has not started yet. He is getting closer to a full debut, with a late decision to be taken on his involvement on Monday.
