Leeds United have announced the signing of Fortuna Düsseldorf midfielder Ao Tanaka from for a reported fee of £2.95m.
The Japan international was linked with a move to Elland Road a year ago, but the transfer never materialised.

Those rumours were resurrected this summer after an impressive season in Germany’s second tier for Tanaka.
With 27 caps and eight goals already in the bag for Japan, the 25-year-old also had an impressive domestic scoring record last season, netting eight times in 31 appearances.
