Leeds confirm USA pre-season tour with Wrexham, Sunderland and Liverpool in Chicago | OneFootball

Leeds United will return to the United States for the first time in 29 years this summer, confirming a three-match pre-season tour that features Liverpool in Chicago.

The club said in a statement that Daniel Farke’s side will open against Sky Bet Championship Wrexham in Tampa, then face Premier League Sunderland in New Jersey, before concluding against 2024/25 champions Liverpool at Soldier Field, having gone unbeaten against them this season.

The fixtures are set for Saturday 25 July against Wrexham at Raymond James Stadium, Thursday 30 July versus Sunderland at the Sports Illustrated Stadium, and Sunday 2 August against Liverpool in Chicago.

The itinerary includes fan events and is geared towards giving the first-team squad optimum preparation and facilities for the 2026/27 campaign, alongside opportunities to grow the club’s global presence and work with commercial partners.

Pre-sale tickets for all three matches are due to be released at 4pm on Tuesday 10 March.
