Leeds United are targeting Fiorentina duo Erick Pulgar and Valentin Eysseric.
La Nazione has reported Leeds' interest in the two players and both could head for England if coach Cesare Prandelli deems them surplus to requirements in Florence.
Former Bologna midfielder Pulgar has dropped to the bench since Prandelli's arrival and looks to have a limited shelf life in the purple of La Viola.
Eysseric has played just four games this season and the 28-year-old, who is out of contract in 2022, is another who could depart provided the club can bring in replacements.
Reports in Italy have added that Atalanta outcast Papu Gomez and Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira are among their priority targets in the January window.
