AJ Auxerre’s Lassine Sinayoko (26) is causing quite a stir. According to information from Foot Mercato, the Malian striker is reportedly in contact with clubs in France, Germany and, above all, England. Among them, Leeds United and Brighton are said to be the most interested in signing the Bamako-born player.
Having enjoyed another impressive season, scoring 12 goals and providing four assists in 32 Ligue 1 matches, Sinayoko now appears ready to take his career to the next level. Under contract with AJA until 2027 (with an optional extra year), the forward is therefore likely to be spoilt for choice when it comes to his future.
This is a richly deserved accolade for the Malian international (30 caps, 10 goals) who, over the years, has established himself as a key figure in the French league, both through his statistics and his commitment on the pitch, having played a major role in ensuring that Auxerre, the club where he came through the ranks, has remained in the top flight for consecutive seasons.
