Leeds United host Brighton in their final home game on Sunday, with injuries and late fitness checks shaping both squads.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, their safety was assured by West Ham's defeat to Arsenal, then they drew 1-1 at Tottenham on Monday.
For Brighton, Stefanos Tzimas has undergone ACL surgery and will not play again this season. Adam Webster has missed the campaign with an ACL and, despite being back on the grass, is unlikely to return.
Diego Gomez suffered a knee issue against Tottenham almost a month ago, and Fabian Hurzeler did not rule out a Wolves return last weekend, so he will be assessed closer to Sunday. Mats Wieffer picked up an ankle injury in the 3-1 defeat at Newcastle and will be checked later this week.
Kaoru Mitoma is currently listed as out after appearing to suffer a hamstring problem early in the second half against Wolves. Scans are yet to confirm the extent, and anything muscular would likely rule him out.
For Leeds, Ilia Gruev's season ended before last month's 2-2 draw at Bournemouth due to a meniscus injury, with Daniel Farke expecting a pre-season return. Leeds now look to extend their Premier League unbeaten run to eight games back at Elland Road.
