Sky Sports News reports that Wolves have accepted Crystal Palace’s offer for Jorgen Strand Larsen, after Leeds United were linked with the striker.

The package is reported to be worth £48 million, including £5 million in add-ons, well above Leeds’ £40 million limit.

If the remaining details are agreed before tomorrow’s seven pm transfer deadline, the move could trigger a chain of deals. Jean-Philippe Mateta could leave Selhurst Park for AC Milan. Nottingham Forest were interested in both Mateta and Strand Larsen.

The development leaves Leeds reliant on Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Lukas Nmecha and potentially Joel Piroe, while remaining mindful of their PSR balance.

Leeds made an offer a couple of weeks ago and have not moved from their valuation.
