Leeds United have squad imbalances to address this summer as players come and go. Pascal Struijk has already joined Brighton in a £20m move, while free agent Harry Wilson is expected to be unveiled soon.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, depth at left centre-back was thin even before Struijk left and left-footed players are scarce. Wilson would lift that tally further forward, with left wing-back lacking natural cover behind Gabriel Gudmundsson. There are also gaps to fill in goal, while central midfield looks strong but could change amid interest in Shea Charles.
In goal, first choice is Lucas Perri with Alex Cairns as cover, and a new deal for Cairns is understood to have been agreed.
At right centre-back, Joe Rodon is first choice, with Sebastiaan Bornauw, James Justin and Jaka Bijol in reserve.
In the central centre-back role, Sebastiaan Bornauw is first choice, backed up by Jaka Bijol and Joe Rodon.
On the left at centre-back, Jaka Bijol is first choice with Ethan Ampadu as cover.
At right wing-back, Jayden Bogle starts, with James Justin providing back-up.
