Leeds United confirm Reuben Lopata-White loan to Altrincham until January | OneFootball

Leeds United have confirmed Under-21s defender Reuben Lopata-White has joined National League Altrincham on loan until January. The 20-year-old moves out for the first half of the campaign.

The club said in a statement that he will spend the coming months at the J. Davidson Stadium and is eligible to make his debut at Sutton United on Saturday. They added he heads to Greater Manchester following a productive spell in Scotland last term with Greenock Morton.

Lopata-White had his first senior experience on a six-month loan from January, making eight appearances for Morton in the Scottish Championship. He also featured 16 times for Scott Gardner’s Under-21s, including the EFL Trophy and National League Cup, and scored in a 2-1 Premier League International Cup win over Sporting CP.

Neil Gibson’s side began their National League campaign with a 3-1 home defeat to Southend United last weekend. The defender arrives as Altrincham look to respond.

Lopata-White has 12 months remaining on the three-year contract he signed in the summer of 2024. He is scheduled to return to West Yorkshire in January with six months left on those terms.
