Leeds United fans planning Wembley trips could get an FA Cup semi-final allocation in the mid-30,000s, based on recent seasons.

Daniel Farke’s side reached the last four with a 4-2 win on penalties at West Ham on Sunday. They were 2-0 up going into added time, conceded twice late on, and extra time brought no goals. Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Ao Tanaka, Willy Gnonto and Pascal Struijk converted in the shootout, with Lucas Perri denying Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Felipe. According to The Mirror, police are on high alert for the Chelsea meeting due to historic rivalry and Leeds are expecting around 32,000 tickets, though there was no major trouble in either Premier League game.

Wembley has hosted FA Cup semi-finals since 2008. Its 90,000 capacity is not split 45,000 each, with Club Wembley, commercial partners and segregation reducing the numbers. For the 2023/24 Championship play-off final, Leeds initially received 35,796 tickets before extra restricted-view seats were released.

Last season’s FA Cup semi-finalists were given between 34,000 and just over 36,000 each. Manchester City only took 27,000 due to frequent trips and rising costs. In 2024, Coventry City, Chelsea, Manchester United and City were believed to have around 34,000 initially.

Neither club has confirmed ticket details or kick-off. The tie will be played on the weekend of April 25/26. Many more Leeds supporters are likely to travel to London regardless.

Leeds’ trip to Bournemouth has moved to Wednesday, April 22 at 8pm, live on Sky Sports. Chelsea now visit Brighton at 8pm on Tuesday, April 21, giving them a 24-hour advantage.
