The Leeds United Foundation recently joined forces with PAW Patrol Live! to provide a special experience for local children through their Premier League Primary Stars programme.
Youngsters from Harehills Primary School, Christ Church Upper Armley C of E Primary School and Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School all attended an exclusive workshop with the club’s official charity and have been invited along to the Leeds show at the First Direct Arena on Saturday 9th August as guests of PAW Patrol Live!
Coaches from the Leeds United Foundation along with first-team stars Ilia Gruev and Seb Bornauw were all on hand to surprise the young students at Elland Road, as they took part in fun crafts and activities before the players handed out their surprise tickets to the upcoming show.
The special guests will get to experience the action-packed live stage show as PAW Patrol Live! returns with a brand-new adventure: The Great Pirate Adventure! The children along with their families will join Ryder and the Pups on a thrilling treasure hunt and enjoy a high-energy performance filled with music, fun, and plenty of excitement!
The club’s official charity uses football to support and inspire those who live in Leeds, and they do this through a range of activities including health and social education in primary and secondary schools and sports participation for everyone, all whilst enabling young people to make positive choices about their lives and futures.
Commenting on their experience, Bella and Lola from Our Lady’s Primary School said: “We had such a fun day meeting the players and coming to Elland Road. The players even gave us tickets to see PAW Patrol Live! in Leeds this summer, and we can’t wait!”
Louise Burns, the School Partnership and Education Manager for the Leeds United Foundation added: “It has been fantastic partnering with PAW PatrolLive! especially being able to engage and support local children and families from some of the schools we work with.
“Seeing the smiles as they arrived at Elland Road and providing them with the chance to take part in some fun activities before meeting some of their footballing heroes was brilliant. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen!”
Claire Anter, spokesperson for PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure, said: “We are delighted to join forces with the Leeds United Foundation and bring the magic of 'PAW Patrol Live!' to children and families across the area. Our hope is that this experience sparks joy, creates lasting memories, and inspires a lifelong love for the arts.
"We look forward to welcoming these special guests to the show in just a few weeks.”
PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure is at first direct arena Leeds on Saturday 9th August at 10:45am, 2:00pm and 5:15pm.
