Leeds United have climbed back to 14th without playing, Bournemouth’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace nudging them above Palace on goal difference.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Friday night’s 3-1 victory against already-relegated Burnley moved Leeds nine points clear of third-bottom Tottenham Hotspur and up to 14th, ahead of Newcastle United.
Newcastle then moved back above Leeds on Saturday with a 3-1 home win against Palace, which left Leeds 15th but level on points with the London side.
Palace visited Bournemouth on Sunday, starting the day only two goals better off than Leeds on goal difference.
Bournemouth continued their strong form with a 3-0 success, flipping the goal-difference margin and returning Leeds to 14th without them kicking a ball.
