Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Leeds United have opened talks over a move for Parma midfielder Mandela Keita.
The report says the 24-year-old is highly regarded in the Premier League and valued at around €30m.
The defensive midfielder has spent the past couple of seasons at Parma, making 70 appearances. He arrived after their promotion to Serie A in 2024 and helped them settle with a 13th-place finish last season, starting 36 of 38 league matches.
Keita came through at OH Leuven before a spell with Royal Antwerp, where he featured in the Champions League. He joined Parma in 2024.
Leeds have also been linked with Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, who impressed for Japan at the World Cup and has attracted interest from Aston Villa.
The club have been exploring central midfield options, with a couple of failed bids for Southampton’s Shea Charles. As things stand, Ethan Ampadu, Anton Stach, Ao Tanaka and Sean Longstaff are available in midfield.
