Leeds United’s first two home Premier League fixtures have been rescheduled for television in August and September, the Premier League confirmed.

Brentford’s visit to Elland Road, Leeds’ second match of the 2026/27 campaign, will now kick off at 2pm on Sunday 30 August after selection by Sky Sports.

That date coincides with Leeds Festival at Bramham Park, which runs from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 August. The Brentford match is one of three live on Sky at that time, alongside Chelsea vs Brighton and Sunderland vs Fulham.

September begins with a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion that remains a Saturday 3pm start, mirroring Nottingham Forest on the opening weekend. Newcastle United then visit Elland Road for a Sky Sports game set for 8pm on Monday 14 September, the first under the lights this season.

However, the Newcastle fixture could still change. If either club reaches the Carabao Cup third round and draws a side playing Champions League football, the league match would move to 12.30pm on Saturday 12 September.

Leeds enter the Carabao Cup in the second round during the week commencing 24 August. With the draw likely to follow those ties, any alteration to the Newcastle game could come with around two weeks’ notice.
