Alan Minda has recently been linked with a move to Elland Road, with this news breaking ahead of the January window.
Cercle Brugge winger Alan Minda is reportedly on Leeds United's radar.
This is according to an update on X from Mercado Futbol EC, with the Whites seemingly having players on their list already ahead of the January transfer window.
There was a considerable amount of movement in the Championship side's wing area during the summer transfer window, with Jaidon Anthony departing Elland Road following the end of his loan spell and Crysencio Summerville sealing a move to West Ham United.
With the pair leaving the West Yorkshire side, a couple of replacements were brought in, with Largie Ramazani sealing a permanent move to the club.
He looked to be the replacement for Summerville - and he has done well so far - despite the fact he has spent time out of action recently.
Ramazani could be key to the Whites' promotion and so could Manor Solomon, who hasn't made the best start to life at Elland Road, but has the potential to become an excellent loan addition following his temporary move from Tottenham Hotspur.
Solomon has performed well at the top level before - and the Israel international could make all the difference if he can improve his form in the final third.
Leeds also have a couple of other top-quality wingers who can make a real difference, with Dan James already proving his worth this term and Willy Gnonto having the potential to become a world-class player in the future.
When those four options are available, it may be difficult for another winger to establish himself as an important first-teamer under Daniel Farke.
Mercado Futbol EC have reported that Minda has "sparked" interest from Leeds, with the player currently shining in Belgium with Cercle Brugge.
Registering two goals and four assists in 18 competitive appearances for his current team this season, he has made a fairly decent impact in the final third and at just 21, he's already gaining senior international caps.
Winning 12 caps for Ecuador, he is proving to be a real asset for club and country.
Doing enough for Independiente del Valle, who are based in his home country, he earned a switch to Belgium back in 2023 and has done fairly well during his time in Brugge thus far.
Minda is clearly a talented player and at just 21, he will only get better.
That would make him an extremely exciting signing for the Whites - and Minda may be open to a move to a club as big as Leeds.
In the short term, he could struggle to start regularly, but there's always a chance that Solomon could return to Spurs in January if he doesn't make more meaningful contributions between now and then.
That could open up a space for Minda to challenge for a starting spot.
