With the run-in under way, Leeds United’s loanees are experiencing mixed fortunes, and one has only just kicked off his campaign with four matches left.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Mateo Joseph’s spell at Mallorca has been curtailed by an ACL injury. Before that setback he started 19 La Liga matches and made 10 substitute outings, scoring twice and supplying four assists, with Mallorca one point and one place above the drop zone with five to play.
Largie Ramazani has timed his Valencia breakthrough late but well. Having not started before mid February, the winger has since begun 10 consecutive games, scoring five, with four of those goals in wins that keep them five points clear of danger.
In Germany, Max Wober’s Werder Bremen season finally began on Sunday with a 25-minute cameo against Stuttgart. The 28-year-old had missed all 2025/26 Bundesliga minutes due to two injuries, a hamstring issue that ruled him out of 14 matches, a bench return for one game, then another 14 out.
Werder are 12th in the 18-team Bundesliga with fixtures against Freiburg, Bayern Munich and St Pauli to come.
Wober joined Leeds in January 2023 on a four-and-a-half-year deal to summer 2027, used a loan clause after 2023 relegation to spend a season at Borussia Mönchengladbach, then endured two knee surgeries last term on his Leeds return. He finished with eight league appearances, two starts, and has featured 28 times for the club in total. A summer exit feels inevitable.
