Leeds United drew 1-1 at Brentford, ending their away slump with a first point on the road since the win at Wolves. Jordan Henderson put the hosts ahead, then Dominic Calvert-Lewin levelled with his fourth in four, becoming the third Englishman to score in four straight Premier League games for Leeds.
According to Leedsunited.news, Anton Stach received 8/10 to lead the ratings, while new signing Gabriel Gudmundsson was given 4/10.
Brentford had taken 16 of a possible 21 points before kick-off and Leeds had lost six of seven away, but Daniel Farke’s side stood up well and could have nicked it after recent lifts against Chelsea and Liverpool.
Lucas Perri 6, a fine save after Pascal Struijk’s mistake and little chance with the goal. Jayden Bogle 5, caught out on the move that led to the opener. Joe Rodon 7 assured, Jaka Bijol 6 solid, Struijk 5 below par, Gudmundsson 4 fortunate over a first-half penalty and guilty of needless fouls.
Ethan Ampadu 6, won the ball before Willy Gnonto crossed for Calvert-Lewin’s header. Ao Tanaka 5 was quiet and went off on 73 minutes. Stach 8 impressed going forward but lost Henderson for the goal, Noah Okafor 6 threatened, Calvert-Lewin 7 finished superbly.
Subs, Gnonto 7 for the brilliant delivery and another decisive cameo, Brenden Aaronson 5 made little impact. James Justin and Jack Harrison came on in injury time, both N/A.
