Leeds United return on Sunday with an FA Cup quarter-final at West Ham. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, a strong XI is envisaged with a key defensive return.

The 4.30pm London Stadium kick-off is their first outing after the two-week March internationals, when 12 players were away.

They signed off with a goalless home draw against Brentford, when Daniel Farke made one change, with suspended Gabriel Gudmundsson replaced by Jayden Bogle.

Gudmundsson is back from his one-game ban for the quarter-final. Farke has rotated in every round, and injuries complicate the calls.

In goal, Lucas Perri could start again. Karl Darlow began the third round, Perri then played the fourth and fifth and was the shoot-out hero at Birmingham.

At right wing-back, Jayden Bogle feels the natural pick, with James Justin possibly needed at centre-back. Willy Gnonto and Dan James have also featured there.

In a back three, Jaka Bijol looks a banker, with James Justin and Pascal Struijk potentially alongside. Joe Rodon has yet to start in the competition and might again be on the bench.

On the left, Gudmundsson could reclaim the wing-back role. Justin, Gnonto, James or even Sam Byram are alternatives, but the sense is Gudmundsson completes the back line.
