Leeds United face Sunderland in New Jersey tomorrow night, seeking a first pre-season win, and attention turns to Daniel Farke's possible line up.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the Whites lost 3-2 to Wrexham last weekend, when Joel Piroe and Sean Longstaff scored for a rotated side missing key players. The Sports Illustrated Stadium meeting could feature a slightly different group, with some World Cup breaks ending and recent arrivals settling.

There are three injury worries, with Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Dominic Calvert-Lewin all absent against Wrexham. A first start is in sight for Harry Wilson, while Tarik Muharemovic may feature if deemed ready.

In goal, Alex Cairns looks the pragmatic pick, with the status of James Trafford's move to Leeds and Lucas Perri's subsequent Torino switch potentially leaving the 33-year-old as the senior option, though Rory Mahady is an outside candidate. James Justin logged valuable minutes and could cover at centre-back, with Joe Rodon also likely to continue after a tough outing.

19-year-old Alfie Cresswell may start again rather than risking Bornauw or Bijol, with Muharemovic perhaps introduced later. Jayden Bogle, a half-time substitute against Wrexham, should be in contention at right wing-back, and could drop deeper if Farke opts for a back four.
