The Athletic reports that Leeds United rejected a deadline-day enquiry from Premier League rivals Sunderland.
The approach concerned Noah Okafor, and Leeds were not open to a departure.

Leeds entered the final day seeking to add another attacker to allow Willy Gnonto to join Fiorentina.
They were working on a deal for France under-21s winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Gnonto then completed a season-long loan to the Serie A club, which includes a purchase option.
