Leeds United plan to start a new tribute area for Howard Wilkinson and Marcelo Bielsa after the 2025/26 season.

The club said in a statement that two permanent spaces, Howard’s Way and Bielsa’s Place, will sit on either side of the East Stand reception.

Howard’s Way will feature a bespoke marble seat inscribed with Wilkinson’s achievements, along with a stone silhouette of him lifting the First Division trophy. Bielsa’s Place will include a marble replica of his bucket and a stone silhouette capturing an iconic image.

Supporters can now buy personalised legacy stones to be installed in either space. Legacy stones already feature at Elland Road in Centenary Square and Bremner Square.

Bielsa led United back to the Premier League in 2020 after a 16-year absence. Wilkinson, recently inducted into the National Football Museum’s Hall of Fame, is the last English manager to win the top flight with Leeds in 1991/92.

Work could begin between late May and June once the campaign concludes. The tribute is separate from the fan-led push for a Wilkinson statue, a project backed by the club.
